The Psychology department, Social Workers, Domestic staff, Catering and Maintenance teams and all personnel at the hospital work very hard to deliver an effective psychiatric service.  You are encouraged to be independent and have an input into your own care.

What are CQUINs?

The Commissioning for Quality and Innovation (CQUINs) payments framework encourages care providers to share and continually improve how care is delivered and to achieve transparency and overall improvement in healthcare.

For you – the patient – this means better experience, involvement and outcomes.

CQUIN Targets and planned actions for the 2015/16 year ending March 2016

Improving healthcare to reduce premature mortality in people with severe mental illness - To support NHS England’s commitment to reduce premature mortality, improve patient safety, patient experience and quality of life, through shared communications and reconciliation of treatments.

Carers involvement strategy - To support carer involvement with their relatives in secure care and on to the point of discharge.

Secure service users active engagement programme (collaborative risk assessment) - To actively involve our service users in their risk assessment and development of their risk management plan.
