PiC is very pleased to now be offering residential treatment and outreach services for adult trauma and addiction - services for which people in the community can self-refer or be referred by health professionals.

The Manor Clinic – excellence for addictions
When someone feels ready to confront an addiction The Manor Clinic is a reliable and clinically leading service with long standing experience in treatment, nurturing therapies and ongoing positive support to give the best possible chance of a successful sustainable recovery.
This high quality, discreet and safe environment in a Georgian building has comfortable ensuite bedrooms, offices and community areas, a beautful walled garden and is located in a pleasant area of Southampton. We offer a variety of treatment programme options so that people can choose depending on their needs. All programmes include follow-up.
The 7 day programme
This is a medically-assisted detoxification where physical wellbeing is the main focus. Whilst at The Manor Clinic for the 7 day programme, service users may be able to observe the type of treatment sessions that are offered in longer programmes to help them decide if they would like to continue with more treatment. Some telephone support is available afterwards.
The 10 - 14 day programme
The medically-assisted detoxification as followed over 7 days is followed by group therapy and therapeutic work with an addiction therapist. Support can be offered to the service user’s immediate family during this time where appropriate. Some telephone support is available afterwards.
The 28 day programme with full follow-up
This is acomplete programme from medically-assisted detoxification through a full treatment plan of 1:1 and group therapy with an addiction therapist. The service user has involvement and consultation throughout the process in understanding each stage. With the client’s permission, family members can be involved and/or offered support during this time. Once the programme is finished clients are invited to regular follow-up meetings and have access to a 24/7 telephone counselling and support service.

The Manor Hall – centre for trauma
Manor Hall Centre for Trauma in Stirling, Scotland which admits men and women who may have a range of post-traumatic reactions including Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), co-morbidity, complex trauma and dissociation, personality and mood disorders. This is offered across inpatient, outpatient and respite service.
The expert team here specialises in the assessment and treatment of psychological conditions which occur as a result of trauma This may be from a single or series of traumatic events, either in adulthood or in childhood. We recognise both the physiological and psychological impacts of trauma and the importance of paying attention to both.
The therapies we offer include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Behavioural Analysis System of Psychotherapy (CBASP), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and Lifespan Integration.

People receiving treatment at The Manor Hall progress through a stepped down model towards recovery and readiness for a return to life beyond treatment. The clinic helps to prepare them for discharge in liaison with local authorities and clinicians for support in the community. The clinic also offers outreach support programmes.
