Whilst the summer has not been the hottest one in history, it has been a very busy time for us at PiC. In June we were very pleased to welcome Dr Quazi Haque as our new Group Medical Director. Dr Haque replaces Dr John Taylor, who has now retired from Partnerships in Care.
Recent service developments include: our all-female service at Arbury Court (Warrington), a new locked rehabilitation unit for male patients at Kemple View (Lancashire) and a new locked rehabilitation unit for male patients at Kneesworth House (Cambridgeshire).
We are also proud to launch our National Service Directory, offering a more detailed description of our services primarily for commissioners/referrers. We are also pleased to publish our Length of Stay report for 2008 – 2011, as well as make available electronic version of our recent timeline frameworks for our mental illness and personality disorder services as well as one for our learning disability services.
Our congratulations go to the PiC South East region for winning the 'Workforce Efficiency' award at the recent HSJ Efficiency Award Ceremony. We are extremely proud to have won such a prestigious award.
We hope to see you at one of the upcoming events noted below. |
