PiC announces new National Training Centre

Partnerships in Care will soon open its purpose built National
TrainingCentre to provide a venue for both internal and external
events. This new state of the art facility is being developed on
the site of one of PiC’s newest hospital developments, Arbury
Court, near Warrington, Cheshire, in the heart of the North West of
England.
The training centre will offer: a 60 seat lecture
theatre,several seminar rooms and a breakout area. The centre will
be able to provide training and development for small and large
groups. Specialist training packages on key issues in psychiatry,
management and service development will be offered.
Together with a specialist training suite, the site will also
provide a permanent venue for our Management of Violence and
Aggression (MVA) and break away training. MVA training at the
centre will offer both basic skills training as well as ‘train the
trainer’ packages.
Julie Pickford has been appointed as the Director of the PiC
National Training Centre.
