Partnerships in Care will soon open its purpose built National TrainingCentre to provide a venue for both internal and external events. This new state of the art facility is being developed on the site of one of PiC’s newest hospital developments, Arbury Court, near Warrington, Cheshire, in the heart of the North West of England.

The training centre will offer: a 60 seat lecture theatre, several seminar rooms and a breakout area. The centre will be able to provide training and development for small and large groups. Specialist training packages on key issues in psychiatry, management and service development will be offered.

Together with a specialist training suite, the site will also provide a permanent venue for our Management of Violence and Aggression (MVA) and break away training. MVA training at the centre will offer both basic skills training as well as ‘train the trainer’ packages.

Julie Pickford has been appointed as the Director of the PiC National Training Centre.
