From The M61

• Exit the M61
• At the motorway roundabout, follow the signs for Westhoughton.
• Continue over the next roundabout following the signs for Westhoughton/Wigan.
• Proceed along this road for approx. 1/2mile to a Newsagent on the left.
• Turn left immediately after the Newsagents onto Platt Lane
• Continue along Platt Lane for approximately 1/2mile to Derby Street (approximately the 6th road on the left)
• Turn left into Derby Street. Proceed along this road passing over several mini roundabouts and speed restrictors until you pass underneath a railway bridge.
• Once under the railway bridge, take your first left into Gregory Avenue, your next right into Tensing Avenue.
• Everest Road is at the top of Tensing Avenue and The Spinney is immediately to your left.

From The M6

• Exit the M6 at junction 23 and get onto the A580 (East Lancashire Road) heading towards Manchester. At the roundabout continue forward.
• At the fourth set of traffic lights (approx 3 miles) turn left onto the A579, sign posted Boltn.
• Proceed through all the traffic lights and round abouts until you come to the final roundabout at the end of the A579.
• Take the 3rd exit off the roundabout (signposted Atherton A577/Bolton A579) onto the A577 (Wigan Road). Proceed along this road until you arrive at a mini roundabout, take the 2nd exit off the mini roundabout onto Gloucester Street.
• When you reach the next set of traffic lights turn left into Bag Lane and then take the 2nd right into Derby Street.
• Proceed along this road passing over several mini roundabouts and speed restrictors until you pass underneath a railway bridge.
• Once under the railway bridge, take your first left into Gregory Avenue, your next right into Tensing Avenue.
• Everest Road is at the top of Tensing Avenue and The Spinney is immediately to your left.

By Train

• Hag Fold railway station is closest and a very short walk from The Spinney and you will need board the Manchester/Victoria to Wigan/Southport line.
