PiC National Training Centre

PiC's state of the art National Training Centre, provides a venue which hosts both internal and external events.

The training centre based at Arbury Court, near Warrington, Cheshire, offers a fully interactive 65 seat lecture theatre with two-way video conferencing/recording and web access, six seminar rooms with interactive white boards and video conferencing facilities, and a breakout area. The centre provides training and development for small and large groups; the centre will run a wide spectrum of training and development courses. We also plan to establish our PiC Academy for the further development of research into mental healthcare.

Together with a specialist training suite, the site also provides a permanent venue for our Therapeutic Management of Violence and Aggression (TMVA) and break away training. TMVA training at the centre offers both basic skills training and 'train the trainer' packages.

The PiC Academy based at the National Training Centre is a centre for research and service development in mental health.
