Brain Injury Services, Essex, which is headed up from Elm Park near Colchester, offers highly specialised services for people with complex physical, cognitive, functional and behavioural difficulties that typically follow a brain injury. Our expert care includes the management of people with poorly controlled social behaviour. We also accept referrals from forensic services.

We provide low secure, psychiatric intensive care unit (PICU) services. The holistic approach we take to the assessment, long term care and rehabilitation of people with an acquired brain injury also allows us to provide full community rehabilitation and supported living. Our range of services has recently expanded to include a purpose built, 8 bedded low secure ward, based on the Oaktree Manor site nearby Tendring.
