Annesley House

Provides Personality Disorder and Mental Illness Services (women only)

Annesley House is a medium secure service which accepts referrals from diverse sources (e.g. prison, court, other secure hospitals, specifically for treatment programmes) for women with a primary diagnosis of personality disorder or mental illness. Patients are managed within the person centred care programme approach (CPA).

Annesley House currently forms the gateway to progressive opportunities to lower secure services within the group including: Hazelwood House (enhanced low secure services) and The Willows (low secure services). Our ultimate goal is to develop a relapse prevention plan which may then form the basis for managing the patients future treatment in the community. Patients have access to a comprehensive range of facilities including a tennis court, a training kitchen, art workshops, a gymnasium, a computer room with a library, together with group and individual based activity rooms.
