Arbury Court

Provides Mental Illness and Personality Disorder services (men and women)

Arbury Court, on the outskirts of Winwick in Warrington, provides 30 male long stay medium secure beds and has recently opened a 44 bedded secure service for women. Both services are in purpose built stand alone units.

The treatment approach at Arbury Court - rehabilitation and recovery - dictates that care is 'person-centred' as opposed to 'disease-centred'. Facilities include extensive patient living and activity areas, with all patient bedrooms en-suite. Arbury Court provides care and treatment in differing levels of security to promote the development of care pathways and a positive patient experience. Attention has been paid to greater allocation of physical space and access to secure open areas.

Arbury Court is also home to PiC's National Training Centre.
