Burston House provides quality, specialised treatment and care of men with learning disabilities where their needs challenge the existing service provision.

We offer a secure environment which is linked with community based step-down services including continuing care and rehabilitation.

Based in the village of Burston in Norfolk, Burston House's strength is in the quality of the comprehensive assessment, treatment and care it provides. The emphasis is on a holistic and individualised approach delivered by a multidisciplinary team who are skilled, experienced professionals trained in this specific clinical field

Patient groups

We accept men with learning disabilities who may present with complex mental health problems, autistic spectrum disorder, Aspergers syndrome personality disorders and/or forensic histories.

All patients admitted are detained under the Mental Health Act 1983
