Pippa Philipson
Clinical Service Manager
Head of Occupational Psychology
I joined Partnerships in Care back in July 2009 as a locum.
After six months, I was offered a permanent position which I was
delighted to accept as I enjoy a challenge. But it was also
important for me to have support to make a success of my role. From
my unit manager to the whole of the North London Clinic, that’s
exactly what I’ve got here.
I’ve actually been able to develop the occupational therapy
service, and recently I’ve taken on the additional role of clinical
service manager. This is a great way for me to take my managerial
experience further, and be right at the forefront of service
delivery. I’m really passionate about what I do, and I’m a firm
believer in teamwork and best practice, so it’s important to me
that I can make an impact. It’s up to me to make sure that my team
are all developing and working well together.
Being at Partnerships in Care means doing work that is as
rewarding as it is challenging. It also means being supported, and
enjoying lots of opportunity. For example, in the future, I am
aiming to complete my PhD. And I believe that the North London
Clinic and Partnerships in Care will help me to achieve my
ambition.
