Partnerships in Care (PIC), the UK’s leading independent provider of specialist mental health care and related services, announces the appointment of Fred Sinclair-Brown as its new Chief Executive Officer with effect from 7th September 2006 following the retirement of Peter Farrier.
Fred qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse before spending time as Corporate Finance Director with both the HSBC Group and Bank of Ireland. In 1993 he joined ANS PLC where he spent 13 years as Group Finance Director and for the last five years combined that with Chief Operating Officer. Fred was instrumental in growing the business during his time there. ANS was a large healthcare operation with 46 nursing centres throughout the UK, which was acquired by BUPA late last year.
Retiring CEO Peter Farrier said: “I am delighted to be handing over to Fred, who has many years of experience in operating and developing healthcare organisations. I would like to welcome him to PiC and extend my best wishes for his future with the company.” “I am looking forward to joining a market-leading organisation like PiC. I believe PiC has an exciting future in what is a dynamic and fast-changing operating environment” said Fred Sinclair-Brown.
